The reusable respirator is suitable for protecting wearers for a long shift. Its filtration performance depends on the cartridge / filter we use with. Choosing which cartridge or filter will depends on what kind of particle or chemical in your workplace.
Common questions
"When do I replace my particulate filter?"
Replace the filter when:
- It become difficult to breath (this will vary from individual to individual).
- The filter becomes dirty or physical damage occurs.
"How about gas and vapour cartridge?"
The service life (i.e., how long it will last) of any gas and vapor cartridge is affected by many factors such as the: contaminant, contaminant concentration, breathing rate, humidity level, temperature and other use conditions.
Basically, when to replace is according with your established change schedule or government regulation or sooner if the contaminant can be detected inside the respirator by smell or taste. Do not worry, the smell will slowly penetrate through the material filter, so make sure to prepair the replacement in advance for continuous working.
